Job description:
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our Tag Management System (TMS) team. The TMS team is focused on helping our customers deploy tags both client-side and server-side using Server Side Tagging (SST). As a member of a product team with a strong focus on DevOps, you will play a key role in automating organizational processes using a diverse array of AWS technologies.
You'll get the chance to engage with the full tech stack, ranging from client-side JavaScript libraries and enterprise web applications to data storage solutions on a large scale. Your toolkit will include Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript, Postgres, Ansible, and various AWS services such as EC2, Kinesis, Athena, Step Functions, Quicksight, among others.
Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test complex software solutions, leveraging the latest technologies and frameworks.
Conduct code reviews to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
Engage with Product Management to grasp business needs and market dynamics.
Work collaboratively with various teams to create integrated solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with modern software development technologies.
In-depth knowledge of one or more popular backend programming languages, such as Java, Python, or NodeJS.
Proficiency in DevOps practices including the use of tools like Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and experience with modern web frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Experience building software using AWS technologies.
Experience with relational databases and big data technologies.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, monitoring, and security.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a team.
Independent and effective problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with tag management systems and MarTech is advantageous.
The base pay range for this position is $110-$130k per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
