As a Cyber Software Engineer on the IronGuard team, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying the safety and security of our software products. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $134,300 - $257,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Description
As a Cyber Software Engineer on the IronGuard team, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying the safety and security of our software products. You will collaborate with top-tier professionals to identify vulnerabilities, construct threat models, and engineer advanced tooling to automate processes and strengthen Lockheed Martin's security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of innovative and cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and tools to address complex cyber threats.
- Oversee comprehensive assessments of code to uncover security vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors, and guide team members on how to address these threat vectors.
- Collaborate with Software Development teams and other Lines of Business to integrate static and dynamic testing capabilities into their software pipelines, and provide guidance and expertise in cybersecurity best practices.
- Design, implement, and integrate tools to automate security assessments of software products, and oversee the development and implementation of these tools across Lines of Business.
- Oversee the evaluation of open-source packages to identify vulnerabilities and maliciously implanted software, and provide guidance and expertise to team members in identifying and addressing these vulnerabilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity and software development, provide guidance and expertise to management and across Lines of Business to improve and advance our current cybersecurity practices within software development
- Act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and topics related to cybersecurity
