We're seeking a Software Engineer I to join our team in Azure, focusing on enhancing Azure's customer experience. This role involves working on our Customer Troubleshooting platforms within the Azure portal, aiming to provide AI-powered, relevant and efficient troubleshooting solutions to customers. Our goal is to cut support cost and boost efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Building platform and experiences for Azure customers to empower them with best-in-class products and services.
- Working with Azure Product/Service teams and customers to implement scalable self-serve solutions.
- Ensure high quality, secure, scalable and performant code.
- Support customers and livesite in a DevOps model.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in full software development life cycle, including coding standards & best practices, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, experience for distributed web applications
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Full-stack developer with a proficient track record of shipping high quality products or services
- Problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for software development.
- Experience building and shipping distributed web services
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Expertise in one or more web application dev frameworks like Angular, Knockout, React, etc.
- Drive for execution and results, while delivering quality software for large scale projects.
