Working under the direction of the Software Team Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated Simulink software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
Write automated test suites for unit, function, and system tests
Conduct hands-on testing
Document and analyze test results
Participate in product feature development from the early design stages and assisting in quality assurance testing for final product release of moderately-complex software
Participate in component design reviews
Report bugs and verifying fixes
Evaluate product performance
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in design reviews and code reviews; create test strategies and plans based on development requirements.
Design and implement test infrastructure; contribute to test tools and assets.
Design, implement and execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues.
Evaluate performance of the core Simulink features and participate in performance improvement initiatives
Lead cross-functional Software Quality efforts
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
5 years of professional work experience
Experience in mathematical modeling and simulation technologies
Hands on programming experience with MATLAB, Simulink or C/C++ or JAVA
Experience with Object Oriented Programming/Design
Self-motivated with the ability to work with people from multiple teams
