Role Description:

We are seeking a Software Training Specialist who will be responsible for facilitating tailored training sessions and developing educational materials to onboard new employees and enhance the skills of existing staff. As a Software Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in welcoming new employees through engaging and informative virtual onboarding sessions. There is potential to be responsible for facilitating webinars and helping to onboard and support our customers with our software. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive training sessions, developing instructional materials, and supporting employees and users in maximizing their knowledge of our software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging training programs and workshops for employees.
• Conduct, assist with or facilitate required and recommended training sessions with staff.
• Utilize various training methodologies ensuring knowledge transferring to a vast scope of learners.
• Facilitate tailored training sessions focused on enhancing employees' proficiency in using our software based on the needs of their position.
• Maintain a database of all training materials.
• Lead virtual and in-person training, workshops and meetings.
• Conduct monthly onboarding classes for newly hired employees.
• Potential to design and deliver engaging training sessions for customer onboarding and ongoing support.
• Provide on-going training, coaching, of SalonUltimate/BookedBy solution.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms and evaluation metrics, adjusting as necessary to enhance learning outcomes and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ year of experience working in a customer facing role.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to switch between teaching techniques to accommodate multiple learning styles.
• Detail-oriented and goal-oriented, displaying flexibility and patience with other team members.
• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong project management, time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work closely with others, collaborate effectively and efficiently but be comfortable working independently as well.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Ability to quickly pivot focus based on business needs and continue to deliver results.
• Minor travel throughout the United States as required.

Bonus Points For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Education or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with virtual training platforms.
• Salon/Beauty industry experience.
• Customer service experience
• Retail experience.
• Software knowledge- Point of Sale experience is a plus.
