Solar Performance Engineer

The Challenge:

Are you passionate about clean energy and optimizing performance? We're seeking a talented Performance Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in maximizing the output of our renewable energy projects. You'll leverage your expertise in industry-standard modeling tools (PVSyst or Helioscope) to analyze and improve project efficiency, ensuring we generate clean energy at peak capacity.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Construction, O&M) to identify and troubleshoot operational issues impacting project performance.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of complex technical challenges related to system optimization and power generation.
• Utilize your modeling skills with PVSyst/Helioscope to assess project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop data-driven strategies for enhancing project efficiency and maximizing long-term financial returns.
• Contribute to the creation of comprehensive reports documenting operational issues and their resolutions.
• Work alongside our O&M team to implement performance-boosting strategies, including optimized maintenance protocols and resource allocation.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on renewable energy projects (focus on solar a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience using PVSyst or Helioscope for performance modeling. Minimum 2 years experience in either tool.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A passion for clean energy and a commitment to continuous improvement.
