Experience Required

" At least 5 to 7 years of live experience of resolving L2/L3 level of technical incident resolution in Linux/Unix [ RHEL/Solaris/OEL/HPUX] Platform.

" Must have - L2/L3 Solaris OS administration activities including LDOM/CDOM, Solaris Zone (local/global), UFS, ZFS, Solaris Volume manager, Veritas cluster, Oracle RAC cluster, Oracle ASM.

" Knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) /Or any ITSM Tool incident resolution practice.

" Knowledge and working experience of ITIL processes in BAU IT IS support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Incident Resolution -General L1/L2 troubleshooting.
• Major Incident Support
• This is a must have - L2/L3 Solaris OS administration activities including LDOM/CDOM, Solaris Zone (local/global), UFS, ZFS, Solaris Volume manager.
• L2/L3 Redhat/Oracle Linux OS administration activities
• HPUX server management
• OS administration activities include but are not limited to Build, Troubleshooting, Server down, Resource (CPU/RAM/Disk/Network) management.
• Azure and Oracle cloud knowledge including Exadata on cloud.
• Storage or Network or Disk Interface issues
• Working knowledge on Veritas cluster, Oracle RAC cluster, Oracle ASM
• Working knowledge on Pacemaker cluster
• Working knowledge on Cisco UCS
• MetaDisk (MD) Filesystem management
• Veritas filesystem management
• Multipath filesystem management
• Solaris zpool/apppool filesystem management
• Oracle FMADM management
• CRU replacement/installation for devices needing opening the server
• To respond immediately to any requests escalated.
• Preparation of SOP
• To perform against all key performance indicators including the Resolution and Response Time of SLA Matrix.
• Follow 24*7 business support model.
• Follow Shift roster and daily Shift HOTO perfectly.
• Good to know - Oracle engineering system - Exadata and Supercluster
• Good to know - Python and Bash scripting, Ansible
• Good to know - Nagios monitoring tool
