Solutions Architect

TITLE: Solutions Architect– Cloud Transformation

LOCATION: Onsite (Construction Resources manufacturing, production, or office environment)

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

Solutions Architect Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture roadmap for applications and integrations.
• Develop and build out specific products, overseeing architecture and design discussions.
• Define the vision and requirements for solutions to company challenges.
• Collaborate with business teams and senior management to understand business drivers and functional requirements.
• Direct identification and recommendation of solutions, upgrades, and options for business and technology productivity.
• Ensure secure, scalable solutions through architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to lead engineers and the technical team.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and operational readiness.

Solutions Architect Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership.
• Proven experience with high-throughput, low-latency user-facing microservices.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java EE with functional programming knowledge.
• Experience with BigData and NoSQL technologies (e.g., Cassandra, Big Table).
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Solutions Architect Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in data structures, object-oriented programming, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance engineering, event-driven systems, and SQL for analytics.
• Experience with A/B testing, event-driven architecture, and publish/subscribe models.
