In this role, you will support our Special Events business, which oversees Music Festivals and Motorsports, by developing and applying analytical tools to drive business growth and improve guest experiences.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and address business needs and objectives.
Develop clear and engaging reporting standards and formats, such as heat maps, dashboards, and slide decks, to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.
Analyze and build optimal solutions for specific business needs using advanced analytical tools.
Utilize transactional data to perform sales reporting, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Conduct routine data checks to maintain data integrity and recommend corrective actions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Continuously refine and improve analytical tools based on team feedback and real-world application.
Occasional travel may be required to attend larger events as needed.
Qualifications
Degree or in-progress degree in Business Strategy, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (such as a Master’s) is a plus.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau.
Proven ability to use data to solve complex problems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
Proactive approach to problem-solving, a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
Outstanding oral, written, and communication skills, with the ability to present to small and large groups.
