This role will post in real-time, producing content for the Texas Longhorns, the Dallas Cowboys, and more. We are looking for someone to create and post social media content on Instagram, Reddit, Facebook, and TikTok, who has a passion for Texas sports. The right candidate is ready to provide live updates for weekend games and connect with our users across our social media accounts.
What you'll be doing:
Take a hands-on role in producing social media content for Texas sports
Build creative assets and create vertical videos, social cards, and copy for various social platforms
The ability to create social graphics and videos using Canva
Post in real-time during Texas sporting events, keeping our audience engaged and informed
Our ideal candidates will have the following:
One or more years of experience in the social media industry for a brand or media publication
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field. A degree is a plus, but not required
Ability to write accurate, clean, creative, and engaging copy
Familiarity with social publishing and editing tools like Social News Desk, Dash Hudson, and Canva
A deep understanding of copyright laws
Exceptional organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
