Job Overview:

The Senior Analyst for Annuity & Insurance (A&I) Conversions will need to learn about all aspects of our products and must be able to work with numerous business units across the firm. The individual in this role will be heavily involved and focused on supporting curated product shelf review, analysis and mapping execution critical to the evaluation and due diligence process of M&A deals. Supporting the exploration of annuity and insurance business associated with the due diligence stage of M&A deals along with the execution and implementation stage of a deal post contract signing. This subject matter expert will support the business and will work closely with the prospective clients and their business owners for the annuity and insurance lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, compare and evaluate the product shelf available at enterprise/institution prospects to identify overlap and gaps compared to LPL’s product
  • Collaborate across multiple functions and channels, building effective business partnerships and relationships amongst teams across the firm
  • Communicate and share out findings of product mapping efforts, providing suggested solutions and/or informing conversations to address meaningful and impactful gaps
  • Thrive in a fast paced team atmosphere with the confidence to adjust and adapt as priorities change.
  • This position is based in either San Diego, CA or Fort Mill, SC. This position reports to VP, Investment Products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial services or 3+ years working experience in wealth management products.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in the financial services/brokerage industry, with knowledge about the annuity and insurance industry and products.

  • Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, collaborate and work effectively with business partners across the entire organization.


Preferences:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of LPL platform, products and services


Pay Range:

$79,100.00 - $131,900.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
