As the Sr. Analyst, Global Indirect Procurement, you will report into the Senior Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain. This role is open to candidates in San Francisco or remote candidates who will travel to our San Francisco Plaza two times a year.

About The Job

  • Support and contribute to delivery of annual GSS Savings Target.
  • Manage indirect spend and delivery of strategic initiatives contributing to the achievement of personal and GSS team targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date project and savings tracking in GSS project management system.
  • Supplier Management: maintain or reduce regional supplier count.
  • Partner with Global Category Sr. Manager to develop strategy within Professional Services, HR, and Travel spend.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze spending patterns and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: you will gather, evaluate, and draw conclusions from a range of data sources.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and savings achievements.
    • Form a point of view and identify questions based on analysis.
    • Easily make connections among previously unrelated notions, findings or data points.
    • Proactive in sharing anomalies or key data points.
    • Capable of challenging research briefs provided to ensure accuracy and relevance of final research output.
    • Adapt reporting output to ensure the report is meaningful to a specific audience.
    • Effectively explain & understand reporting outputs, is inquisitive in reporting.
    • Develops effective executive summaries highlighting implications of information.
  • Execute procurement activities following our needs – supply market analyses, price / service-level benchmarking, sourcing events (RFI/RFP), supplier negotiations and ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Manage communications and coordination across teams to achieve procurement project goals.
  • Manage the project plan and lead ongoing communications with internal teams.
  • Utilize Sourcing Tools to:
    • Deliver Savings reporting and status updates to GSS leadership and stakeholder leadership.
    • Measure personal and team projects in GSS PM tool.
    • Embed E-auction and RFX technology in sourcing process.
About You

  • 3-5 years of experience of indirect category sourcing across various categories of spend such as, HR, Professional Services, Travel, IT, Marketing, Distribution & Logistics and Facilities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Has E-auction experience or knowledge.
  • Negotiation and conflict management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid business judgement, including the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions & initiatives.
  • Capacity to be a change agent, demonstrating persistence and resiliency when faced with challenges.
  • Experience working on business process improvement and/or strategy projects.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong team player with the ability to consider and incorporate multiple perspectives to drive category objectives.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $77,300 - $120,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
