The Sr. Associate, Corporate Communications will provide support across the team in executing communications plans, managing issues and keeping our finger on the pulse of important issues and trends that are related to our business. This role will also serve as our corporate social media manager (e.g. LinkedIn).

The Sr. Associate, Corporate Communications will provide support across the team in executing communications plans, managing issues and keeping our finger on the pulse of important issues and trends that are related to our business. This role will also serve as our corporate social media manager (e.g. LinkedIn).
- Contributes to high-quality written materials that convey RL’s corporate narrative, including briefing materials, issues briefs, etc.
- Develops and manages process for creation of coverage reports, including daily news report
- Support the early detection, identification and proper handling of opportunities or situations that may have a direct impact on RL’s corporate reputation
- Support team with competitive monitoring and flagging relevant issues and trends that can shape our work; oversight of and support for media/news monitoring and reporting related to corporate news and competitive intelligence
- Manages RL Press Inbox and assists in researching and developing recommendations for inbound media and speaking requests
- Maintain critical, core documents including media lists, statement trackers, speaking opportunities trackers.
- Aid in the development of award or ranking submissions for corporate or executive-level recognitions.
- Partner with Head of Corporate Communications and external agency on media measurement and analytics.
- Conduct media or topical research as directed by senior communications team members as part of planning process.
- Manages internal processes to enhance global coordination and alignment of communications activities (e.g., disclosure and media policies, store openings, protocols for corporate communication, maintain issues handbook)
- In partnership with the Corporate Communications lead, drives content calendar, planning, development and metrics for LinkedIn, partnering across GCC team and other internal subject experts to mine for content ideas.

- Public relations/communications experience
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter who goes above and beyond what is asked
- Flexible and agile; willing to learn
- Team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Stellar writing and editing skills – PowerPoint plan development, news releases, fact sheets, talking points, executive briefing documents
- Interest in news, trends and the fashion / apparel industry
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, SharePoint), with ability to quickly learn other applications, as necessary
