Sr. Copywriter - Social

Our client, a boutique agency in Hollywood, is looking for a Copywriter with a strong background in social media. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience crafting compelling, on-brand copy that drives engagement and resonates with diverse audiences across various social media platforms. You will work closely with their creative, marketing, and social strategy teams to develop and execute innovative campaigns that align with their clients' brand voices and objectives.

• This is a hybrid position and requires 2-days/week onsite in Hollywood, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop creative and engaging copy for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize social media campaigns that align with client goals and brand identities.
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that adheres to brand guidelines and appeals to target audiences.
• Optimize copy for social media posts, ensuring it is tailored for different platforms and audiences.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging digital marketing techniques.
• Collaborate with designers, account managers, and clients to refine messaging and ensure copy supports visual elements.
• Edit and proofread all social media copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality content.
• Analyze campaign performance data to refine copy and improve engagement metrics.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in copywriting, with a strong emphasis on social media.
• Proven experience working in an advertising or marketing agency environment.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of social media copywriting samples, demonstrating creativity, versatility, and effectiveness.
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Strong ability to write in various tones and styles, adapting to different brand voices.
• Experience collaborating with creative teams and working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
