Vale Group has partnered with a company in the architecture, design, and engineering industry, based in Fort Worth, TX, and Dallas, TX, who is actively searching for an experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to work onsite for an opportunity paying competitively, based on experience. This highly strategic and analytical role involves leading and directing all complex FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting functions for the Company.

Requirements of the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in FP&A with 5 years in a senior finance role
• MBA strongly preferred
• Proven track record of financial stewardship in growth environments
• Exceptional analytical, creative problem-solving, and modeling skills
• Experience building or optimizing existing teams and processes
• Open and positive communication skills with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
• Ability to thrive in a growth business with high transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in a project-based, utilization-driven professional services environment is highly desired
• Knowledge of Deltek VantagePoint is a plus
  
  
  

Responsibilities of the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Partner with leadership to drive strategic, operational, and financial objectives
• Implement a reliable, driver-based forecast and budget process
• Drive efficient financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage the annual planning process to ensure a unified business plan
• Analyze monthly financial results, identify key variances, and develop remediation plans
• Prepare monthly and quarterly deliverables, including management reporting packages and Board presentations
• Oversee financial modeling and due diligence required in a sale process
• Support the Chief Strategy Officer and others with proposal and sales planning analytics
• Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives
• Synthesize data into actionable analyses and present to executive leadership, the Board, and peers
