Meet's partnered on a confidential search for a Director / Senior Director / Head of Human Resources at an innovative and growing SF Bay Area Biotech start-up.


As Senior Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's culture, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering an environment where talent thrives. You will lead HR efforts and collaborate closely with executives and managers across the organization to ensure alignment of HR strategies with business goals. Your strategic insights and innovative approaches will guide our workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee development, and retention efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract top industry talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive hiring process.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including coaching managers on feedback and development.
  • Design and implement employee development programs to nurture talent and promote career growth.
  • Drive initiatives related to compensation, benefits, and employee well-being to enhance overall employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining HR policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
