Job Summary:

In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring that our financial and operational activities are aligned with our policies, standards, and best practices. You will work with various business units and functions across the organization, conducting audits, identifying risks, and recommending improvements.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment with direct exposure to Senior Management and pursue a career within Internal Audit and/or within the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver audit assignments, either individually or as part of a small team, following the internal audit methodology and standards.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the processes, controls, IT systems, performance metrics, operational challenges, and business initiatives in the areas under review.
  • Document and support audit findings and recommendations with appropriate evidence and work papers.
  • Communicate audit results and action plans clearly and concisely to all levels of management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Follow up on the implementation and status of agreed action plans and report any issues or delays.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit function, by updating the risk assessment, audit programs, and audit tools, and participating in other initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Support other internal audit activities, such as fraud investigations, presentations, cost improvement initiatives, due diligence reviews, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or external/internal audit.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • CPA or CIA certification is preferred, or willingness to pursue it.
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools (i.e. Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot) is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to business units, up to 40%.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Job Summary

Compass Group USA is in search of a dynamic Sr. Director - D&C Program Management to lead Design Construction efforts as Compass One at Amazon. As a premier contract food and business support services company, we are committed to delivering excellence across all facets of our operations.

In this pivotal role, the Sr. Director of D&C Program Management will play a key part in unlocking & brokering key D&C relationships, work closely with the Compass One leadership team (CLT), build on new D&C business opportunities, own all the D&C functions and activities, oversee the D&C Project Management & Implementation teams, and closely monitor and support all existing project base from a program and refresh strategy. This position will report into the Envision Design & Build team at Compass and will champion innovation in capital development for Compass One at Amazon D&C strategy, shaping the trajectory of our D&C business model.

Your primary focus will be on fostering robust client relationships and ensuring the effective delivery of projects, as we develop and program the Future of Food at Amazon. Leveraging your expertise in Design & Construction Program management, you will implement frameworks, standards, and governance processes to optimize client management, project delivery, and program growth across all business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & Nurture Client & Partner D&C relationships.
  • Lead Program Management & Implementation teams across business lines to ensure the successful execution of design and build initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional Envision Group teams to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Compass One Leadership Team to achieve operational and culinary objectives through design & build process.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with sector stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation in design and construction.
  • Forge strategic alliances with external partners, to streamline purchasing, vendor selection, and bidding processes.
  • Support culinary and operational teams through training and the successful opening of new facilities.
  • Spearhead day-to-day client and project management activities, including presentations, performance analysis, and client interface.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
  • Provide thought leadership on Sustainable Design and Construction, driving innovation and best practices.
  • Focus on nurturing and retaining relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring alignment with Compass Group's values and goals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to highlight team capabilities and business case studies.
  • Define contractual obligations and oversee project budgets and schedules to ensure alignment with sector objectives.
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges, adjusting timelines and resources as needed.
  • Develop and expand strategic partnerships to support our design and planning initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing support to brand partners, facilitating their integration into Compass Group's ecosystem.
  • Play a key role in managing the Compass One D&C P&L

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Design, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Client Management and Program and Project Management roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Outlook, and Project Management Software.
  • Strong background in food and foodservice operations, with a deep understanding of Design & Build Development.
  • Experience with global client management and managing a global team.
  • Proven ability in building contracts, overseeing budgets, and manage a P&L.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a history of delivering measurable results.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with Bluebeam / AutoCAD software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to meet with clients and operators.
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and grow a team of future D&C leaders at Amazon.
