As a Sr. EHS Specialist on temporary assignment, you will support Pinterest’s Physical Security and Safety team by creating a safe and secure work environment through compliance, managing risk, and best practices.

What you’ll do:

• Support the vision and strategy of global health and safety programs by collaborating across regions, teams, and functions to implement strategic plans
• Manage data entry and tracking of metrics in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) system to ensure compliance and best practices
• Develop, review, and facilitate EHS programs, policies, and training in line with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines
• Conduct EHS risk assessments, facility audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions  
• Perform data analysis, support public health compliance, manage contractor safety programs, and contribute to special projects such as emergency response, cost reduction, and other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of EHS experience
• Knowledge and hands-on application of domestic and international EHS regulatory standards, best practices and guidelines, such as emergency preparedness, injury and illness prevention, contractor management, workers compensation, and ergonomics
• Strong program development and management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

• This is a contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (Magnit) or by an agency partner, and not an employee of Pinterest. 
• All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, Magnit or the agency partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
• The estimated salary range for this contract position is $60 - $67/hour based on experience and location.
