Key Responsibilities Of Job

Facilities Operations

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all company facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and security
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
  • Develop, implement, and sustain facility management policies and procedures

Project Management

  • Lead and oversee facility-related projects from inception to completion, including construction, renovations, and relocations
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates and address any issues
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed

Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
  • Track and report on expenditures related to facility operations and projects
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers

Vendor Management

  • Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, including janitorial, landscaping, and security services
  • Ensure that all vendors meet performance standards and contractual obligations
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of service providers

Space Planning and Utilization

  • Develop and implement space planning strategies to optimize the use of company facilities
  • Manage office moves and reconfigurations to accommodate growth and changing business needs

Ensure effective allocation of space and resources

Educational And Physical Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 4 years of facility-related experience in a warehouse setting strongly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be able to quickly respond to after-hours and weekend emergency calls and conditions associated with ensuring continuous operations of facilities and operational equipment / services at multiple physical sites
  • May occasionally have to work outdoors, regardless of time or weather
