Position Overview

The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP), supporting the Technology client group serves as the Technology HRBP and strategic partner/advisor and providing effective HR operational guidance, delivery and support to senior leaders, managers, and employees to support the delivery of the Alkami organizational objectives and outcomes. The Sr. HRBP serves as a consultant on all HR-related matters, including performance management, organizational design, change management and employee relations. The Sr. HRBP acts as an employee champion, culture builder, leadership coach, strategic partner and change agent.

The Sr. HRBP, supporting the Technology client group, works closely with technology leadership and employees to drive engagement, productivity and retention. The position builds and sustains partnerships across the HR Centers of Excellence (including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, HRIS and HR Operations) to deliver value-added initiatives and services to leadership and employees in support of the organizational strategic vision and business objectives.

The Sr. HRBP will report directly to the Sr. Director, Human Resources Business Partners and will support the Technology executive and senior leadership and their teams in Plano, TX and remote locations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business objectives in support of the HRBP/COE model and partnerships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership for the Technology client groups while understanding business challenges and contributing HR insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address talent and culture needs and challenges.
  • Provide strategic support and guidance on capability assessment, change management and organizational development efforts.
  • Lead initiatives to foster a positive organizational culture and employee engagement.
  • Drive change management strategies to support organizational growth.
  • Partner with leadership on retention efforts, ensuring the organization develops and retains top talent.
  • Implement performance management and succession planning programs.
  • Lead change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication across the organization.
  • Develop change management plans to address resistance and drive adoption of new processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess and optimize organizational structure for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement organizational design initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making processes.Assess and report on key HR data points to “tell the story” to the business.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in Human Resources as a strategic HR Business Partner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certification.
  • Proven experience as a strategic HR Business Partner at the senior level and supporting technology client groups.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated Human Resources knowledge in all Generalist areas; Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Change Management, Organizational Design and Learning and Development.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with an understanding of workflow processes.
  • Possess the self-confidence to thrive in a dynamic, diverse and growing organization.
  • Ability to work effectively with teams and individually.
  • Show initiative, self-directed action to accomplish objectives.
  • Passionate about culture and engagement.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience in a Digital Banking or SaaS company is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Workday including system implementation and integration is preferred.
