Elevate is recruiting a Senior Legal Recruitment Manager (US) in our Flex team. As an integral part of our suite of services, and operating in the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, our Flexible Legal Resourcing ("Flex") business provides staffing resources for Corporate legal teams and Law firms. Must be located on the East Coast, preferably in NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, or VA.
Specifically, you will
- Direct management of US Engagement Management Function and direct reports.
- Manage the day-to-day successful delivery of the US Elevate function, including account management and growth, Talent management and deployment, optimizing revenue, profit and developing new business opportunities while providing market leading Customer and Talent experience.
- Actively working to optimize all activities that positively impact Flex margin, profit, and conversion rates.
- Take receipt of a qualified opportunity from Sales and/or qualifying opportunities directly with the Customer.
- Model resource options in alignment with available and/or achievable Talent options, presenting CVs, negotiating pricing whilst maximizing margin through to successful placement.
- Work proactively with Talent Acquisition Teams to present options to customers and back-up candidates as required.
- Manage the placement and extension process including initiate and track the SOW and the contract, approve and ensure all is in place prior to start date.
- Proactive customer relationship management during Talent placement, including regular check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction, identify opportunity for sales and broader service offerings, forecasting resourcing requests and confirming extensions.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to deploy new joiners while balancing the redeployment of the existing team to increase recruitment levels and maximize utilization.
- Act as a contact and triage point for legal and financial queries related to placements.
- Manage Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSAT) and Talent Satisfaction Surveys (TSAT) to include surveying, scores, and remediation efforts.
- Provide SME support to Sales including Flex-related RFP responses and represent Elevate Flex with Sales led conversations.
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues across Elevate (Flex, Sales, Inside Sales, Marketing and Account Management Team) to actively pursue specific target Customers and/or roles, mapping exercises etc.
- Collaborate, support, host and attend industry conferences and related events, working closely with Marketing and Flex colleagues to develop all associated marketing and publicity.
- Maintain ongoing direct contact with Customers to understand their resourcing requirements, budgets, challenges and discuss how Elevate can provide them with optimal resourcing solutions.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with Talent on engagement and Customers through regular contact and Customer Insights program.
- Undertake ongoing analysis and reporting on financial performance of the resourcing and deployment function, forecasting revenue.
- Maintain Applicant Tracking and CRM systems with accurate information, including vacancy and placement lists and other ongoing activity.
- Attend internal meetings and regular reporting on the function, e.g. Global Enterprise Customer Meetings, Global Team Watercoolers, and reporting such as pipeline activity and forecasting.
Experience
- Experience managing direct reports within legal recruitment or resourcing related roles.
- 10+ years of proven experience in a senior recruitment/resourcing role in the US legal industry gained in either an Alternative Legal Services Provider, a Recruitment Agency, or in-house recruitment.
- Have an existing network of Customers and/or Talent.
- Have a proven track record of working successfully within a target driven environment (individual and team targets).
- Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System (Bullhorn preferred but not required) or CRM database.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation
- The pay rate for this remote-based role has a base of $125,000-145,000 + variable compensation and bonus plan.
