Legend Biotech is seeking Sr. Manager Commercial Training as part of the Commercial team.

Role Overview

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Training will develop and execute an effective knowledge acquisition strategy, with compelling content for learners in Legend commercial field roles, as well as in-house personnel.

This person will be an integral partner to the business operations and the commercial teams. Key components to this role will include developing and executing training, developing and monitoring KPIs, and highlighting knowledge gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with brand team to build training modules to drive learning and field success across; therapy area, product knowledge, account management, business acumen, and campaign.
  • Foster strong and supportive cross functional internal and external relationships with senior stakeholders, customers, and agencies. Gain alignment on requirements and deliver timely, high quality, engaging and practically applicable learning programs.
  • Ensures that there is sufficient resourcing and signposting of learning work programs, to facilitate the right cross functional input, review and approval.
  • Accountable for developing, refining and embedding a Learning Capabilities Measurement Plan to provide confidence that learning modules, programs and frameworks are having the desired impact.
  • Able to identify knowledge gaps for commercial field teams and rectify this working independently or by proposing solutions to be executed through other teams or appropriate channels.
  • Accountable for developing and delivery of promotional training content (including creation of materials and copy approval process) for major Oncology events such as ASCO/ASH reviews and product launches.
  • Ensures all training is compliant and related to SOPs regarding customer interactions.
  • Maintain an external and customer-facing focus to evaluate innovative new training or learning trends and translates these into opportunities for upskilling activities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years commercial experience in sales, clinical education, sales training and/or marketing roles with demonstrated success in-market
  • 3+ years Oncology experience
  • 3+ years training experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proven track record of attaining organizational and personal objectives
  • Makes decisions that balance a variety of factors, sets a clear direction for others in times of uncertainty and change, and constructively challenges the conventional wisdom or accepted ways of doing things
  • Maintains high standards of performance, and follows through on commitments
  • Ability to influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impact the business
  • Evidence of instructional design/adult learning, capability building, upskilling or change initiatives
  • Strong ability to understand Legend’s Oncology therapy area strategic context and work pro-actively within role scope to achieve the organization's highest priorities
  • Strong planning and program management skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and develop workflow processes and tasks for multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrix environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
