Job Description

Position Summary

The Enterprise Security Manager will oversee Bose’s global security operations and transformation functions, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This individual will be responsible for executing on the operational security program, overseeing Vulnerability Management, Data Security and Protection, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, and the Cyber Threat Intelligence program. The role will also include oversight of managed services teams (e.g., security monitoring, EDR management, Network Security, DLP Monitoring, etc). This role will be responsible for helping to resolve key cyber-business issues and escalating as appropriate to other parts of the organization. Overall, this person will be a thought leader and an integrator of Bose’s people, processes, and technologies with a lens on securing Bose’s assets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement, enhance and operate the cybersecurity processes and technologies across the enterprise.
  • Manage collaboration with the Information Technology (IT) teams to execute across strategic security priorities and drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity program capabilities.
  • Liaise among the Enterprise Security team and other corporate departments and divisions to prioritize and mitigate identified security incidents.
  • Proactively lead cybersecurity capability development for continuous improvement.
  • Provide cybersecurity operations and configuration assurance.
  • Provide key performance and risk indicators for the CISO utilized for the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with the Security Architecture, Cyber GRC, Product Security to develop roadmaps, enhancement strategies, and support transformational activities for the Global Information Security.
  • Lead Managed Security Services to deliver optimal services to maintain monitoring and detection capabilities for the broader enterprise.
  • Identify and remediate threats and vulnerabilities to the Bose environment, including management of vulnerabilities, policy gaps, and security findings
  • Develop and test incident response strategies and communication plans
  • Protect Bose’s network and endpoints
  • Enhance the Threat Intelligence program to obtain relevant security threat that can be shared across various part of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to manage a team
  • Domain knowledge for the following cybersecurity capability areas: Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Data Security and Protection, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Threat Operations, Cybersecurity Testing
  • Through understanding of the zero trust security model
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
