ZoomInfo is looking for a seasoned and highly experienced Senior Manager of Search to lead and own the SEO strategy for our websites, directories, and blog. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technical and content SEO who can optimize the overall user experience and drive significant organic growth. The Manager of Search will manage two SEO managers, each responsible for executing the strategy on directory pages and the website and blog, respectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategy Development: Support and execute a long-term SEO strategy to enhance the visibility and ranking of ZoomInfo’s digital assets, including websites, directories, and blogs
  • Technical Optimization: Lead the technical optimization of our digital properties, ensuring robust site architecture, fast load times, and seamless user experience
  • Content Optimization: Oversee the creation and optimization of high-quality, relevant content that drives organic traffic and improves user engagement
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and ROI. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve goals
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of SEO managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, design, development, and analytics to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Experience: 7+ years of SEO experience with a proven track record in technical and content SEO, preferably in-house
  • Skills: Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, technical SEO, content marketing, and web analytics tools (e.g., SEMRush, Google Analytics)
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, with experience managing high-performing SEO teams
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets to drive actionable insights
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not required
  • Advanced Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced SEO tools and technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems like WordPress
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships across the organization

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.

$192,000—$264,000 USD
