Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
Program Deployment
- Oversee deployment and reapplication of the Winland Excellence Systems (MOS/Daily Direction Setting, Defect Handling, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Problem Solving, Deep Cleaning, Centerline, Clean Inspect Lubricate, and Health Checks).
- Integrate digital solutions and platforms into the operating model to eliminate non-value added activity and advance problem solving initiatives.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to current standards, while methodically improving the standards based on best practices across the industry.
- Coach and provide feedback to plant managers and site leadership teams to advance from compliance to effective execution of the core Winland Excellence Systems.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and support trainings both virtually and in person to improve technical capability and problem solving proficiency across the network.
- Lead program reporting activities (KPI tracking, goal setting, impact valuation).
- Plan and deliver update meetings with senior management to review pain points and develop solutions.
- Engage with teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Oversee objectives and adjust priorities to deliver Digitally Enabled Lean value ambitions.
- Advance the maturity of the Winland Excellence Systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred – ideally in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
- Position requires weekly Monday-Thursday travel- 3 weeks traveling and 1 week home rotation
- Position requires the ability to obtain a Passport for travel outside of the United States
- Manufacturing leadership and coaching experience Required (3-5 years plant leadership level).
- Firm grasp and internalization of Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience leveraging various digital platforms to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to teach technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to disagree effectively; considering differing points of view objectively and articulate a recommended path forward to resolve conflicts.
- Proven presentation and communication skills engaging with multiple levels of an organization (Senior Leadership through Front Line Employees).
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well and communicate with others.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
