The Sr. Manager of Operations Execution provides significant value to both our franchise partners and within the Burger King business by being the in-house expert on restaurant operations, including standards, best practices, and training. These efforts are directed toward the dual goals of increasing guest satisfaction and improving franchisee profitability.

This role is highly dynamic and provides an outstanding platform for understanding and influencing all Operations aspects of the business.

Role Responsibilities

Specifically, the Sr. Manager of Operations Execution will be responsible for leading national standards initiatives to help ensure franchise partners are supported in the following key areas:

  • Evaluate and implement operations standards and procedures for national products and promotions
  • Identify and create recommendations to mitigate any risks or bottlenecks that could put a launch in jeopardy
  • Understand and be able to explain all 3rd party ops processes and systems that are directly and indirectly related to national product launches
  • Responsible for any system-wide response and communication of any ad-hoc changes due to supply, changes in calendar, etc and able to formulate and defend Brand Standards position
  • Primary contact between the R&D Team and Training team and any additional teams
  • Ensure all materials align and are standardized across all platforms and mechanisms
  • Manage vendor relationship for all items tied to kit materials and end to end management of kit creation to delivery, along with
  • Proactively monitor real-time product performance and identify and create recommendations for better product operations performance
  • Responsible for strategy and management of the US&C Operations manual
  • Understand, execute, and demonstrate product builds (from prep to build)

The successful candidate will need to be influential in relationships with external stakeholders (franchisees and vendors) and internal partners (Operations R&D, IT, Field teams & Marketing etc.). Due to this, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate intimate knowledge of restaurant operations combined with navigating large matrix organizations.

  • Intimate knowledge of restaurant operations, demonstrated though significant in-restaurant experience

Travel

Position will necessitate ad-hoc travel to Burger King DMAs across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the QSR industry and restaurant operations
  • Business acumen & dexterity with qualitative business concepts
  • 5+ years’ experience in the large-scale restaurant setting, both Corporate and Field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build meaningful business relationships
  • Highly organized, motivated and a team player
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
  • Ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in using Excel and PowerPoint
