Job Summary

The Senior Production Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the production of video content for AmeriLife and its affiliate companies across various platforms. This role involves working closely with the Senior Video Producer and other Marketing team members to plan, coordinate, and execute video projects from conception to final delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and has a keen eye for detail.

Duties/Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Senior Video Producer to develop and implement video concepts, storyboards, and content planning.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating video shoots
  • Plan, set up, and operate proper video equipment (lights, camera, camera systems, mics etc.) and implement professional techniques to capture high-quality images and sound recordings.
  • Import and organize raw footage.
  • Ingest, catalog, arrange and edit video footage into cohesive videos that are engaging and serve the desired purpose using industry standard techniques to create high quality video products.
  • Chooses appropriate audio beds, transitions, color grading, motion graphics, audio/video effects, and proper codex for product delivery of videos products for clients.
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients throughout the production process.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and meets the company’s quality standards.
  • Conduct final reviews of videos before they are published or distributed.
  • Develop a working knowledge of our products and services to understand what to highlight in our videos when shooting and editing.
  • Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients
  • Assists in video archiving to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained


Qualifications/Minimum Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in video or film production and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard lighting, camera, audio recording, and video editing techniques
  • Demonstrates skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills


Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Knowledge of shooting and editing professional videos
  • Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
  • Experience with live streaming is a plus
  • Experience with motion graphic software a huge plus (Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Mocha)
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
