As a part of the team you will develop strategies that enable strategic inclusive policy, procedure, and process development within international and domestic talent markets across Zillow. As a strategic partner to our E&B leadership team, you will understand the supporting teams and end users in order to identify and recommend strategies to move the organization to their inclusion goals.

About The Role

To inclusively engage and develop a sense of belonging in employees, it is essential that DEIB strategy is embedded into all facets of an organization. This role will be paramount to driving and defining Engagement and Belonging HR standard methodologies within the broader People Org infrastructure and Zillow. Reporting to the Director of Engagement & Belonging, the ideal individual for this role will focus on understanding the current processes, policies and practices that power Zillow employees. They can expect to lead and implement strategic projects that support, guide, and advise on current and ongoing HR processes. The ideal candidate will embody Zillow’s Core Value Better Together by partnering with cross-functional teams and internal collaborators including but not limited to M&A People Org teams, International HR, Benefits, Compensation, Legal and more. They will design and review policies and practices to ultimately increase employee engagement and sense of belonging. This individual should champion Zillow’s Core Values and Leadership Blueprint of Creating Clarity from Ambiguity as this is a newly defined role. Success in this role is defined by successfully partnering to design and sustain an evolving E&B HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with subject matter authorities across the People Org, specifically, Human Resources, to champion inclusive policies and practices throughout the organization
  • Partner with International HR & M&A HR Teams to define and refine our global talent strategy with a keen eye to inclusive, culturally-relevant policy and procedure development
  • Assess and advise on cultural due diligence standard methodologies for mergers and acquisitions in partnership with several internal cross-functional teams
  • Provide clear consultation and direction to Benefits and Compensation teams on international and culturally-nuanced practices and considerations for domestic and international employee bases (with a specific focus on Mexico and Serbia talent markets)
  • Research and consolidate key recommendations to internal partners regarding different regions’ procedures and policies to offer inclusive and culturally-relevant solutions
  • Serve as a connector between E&B and other internal Shared Services teams to champion inclusion through Talent Success, ERGs/Engagement, and People Analytics

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $107,000.00 - $171,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion related work
  • Experience working in a global People Org or HR function
  • Preferred experience in international HR and M&A
  • Track record of working across Corporate business lines
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, high sense of urgency, and an attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple moving parts of various projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure
