Sr. Program Manager - Fulfillment

The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $177,000. This is a remote position.

Position Overview

FreshRealm is looking for a Senior Program Manager to develop and oversee strategic projects for our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) fulfillment operations. The right candidate will own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects across safety, quality, and cost goals for DSD fulfillment. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including under-the-roof processes, inventory flows, constrained FC assets (capacity and labor), quality, and long term roadmaps will help develop new innovations. Duties include managing multiple programs for the DSD fulfillment business from ideation through implementation in partnership with field operations, logistics, planning and buying teams, packaging, tech teams, and others.

This role will play a critical role in the establishment of our DSD business. It requires a high-level of ownership over the end-to-end process, the ability to think outside of the box, willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process, the ability to design sustainable solutions and influence stakeholders. This role requires managing project timelines and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.This role reports directly to the VP of Logistics and Network Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand current and future state of FreshRealm’s DSD business, including scale and complexity as it grows over time. Develop operations requirements to ensure field operations are set up for success to fulfill the projected volumes.
• Driving innovation that improves the under-the-roof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to achieve 2024 variable cost and quality goals.
• Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams.
• Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities.
• Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business
  
  

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience in Engineering and Manufacturing
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
