About The Role

The Immigration and Global Mobility Senior Manager at Abnormal Security is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of immigration, global mobility, and international entity establishment initiatives. This position requires expertise in navigating complex immigration laws and regulations, developing global mobility policies, and fostering positive employee experiences across international moves.

What you will do

Immigration

  • Ownership of U.S.and Global Immigration Cases: Take charge of all Global (North America, EMEA, APAC, and etc.) immigration cases, ensuring timely processing and adherence to designated timelines.
  • Stay ahead of changes in immigration laws and regulations across various countries and advise internal stakeholders on compliance requirements.
  • External Partner: Coordinate with external immigration vendors and legal counsel to streamline immigration processes and optimize visa application timelines.
  • Analytics Development: Develop analytics to understand program trends and track case metrics.

Global Mobility

  • Leadership of Global Mobility Program: Lead the company's global mobility and, focus on creating a positive employee experience aligned with business needs. This involves policy development, compliance, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Communication and Consultation: Communicate global mobility policies and procedures across the organization, consulting with HR and other stakeholders to determine international move options and provide advice on international employee mobilization topics.

International Entity Establishment:

  • Cross-Functional Projects: Lead or assist in Legal Entity processes dependent on global mobility and immigration programs to define policies, processes, and workflows.
  • Communication and Consultation: Communicate global mobility policies and procedures across the organization, consulting with HR and other stakeholders to determine international move options and provide advice on international employee mobilization topics.
  • HR Project Manager: Work with the entity team on opening up new entities and taking ownership for all asks from the HR team.

Must Haves

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, with at least 8 years of corporate experience in developing, delivering, and supporting immigration programs.
  • HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR functions, processes, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in an agile, employee-focused, and transparent environment.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills to establish trust with business partners and leaders.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by providing hands-on support to employees, business managers, and other stakeholders, serving as a primary contact for inquiries related to global immigration and mobility.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments including HR, Benefits, Legal, Tax, and Immigration.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in developing analytics to understand program trends and track metrics.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively communicate global mobility policies and procedures across the organization.
