We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager with experience in manufacturing and sourcing to join as an integral part of our day-to-day operations, long-term development and growth.

Role: 


The Sr. Project Manager will oversee internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of product development. This role entails managing assigned internal and external product teams, as well as our manufacturing and sourcing partners. Acting as the central liaison, the Sr. Project Manager will coordinate between product design, graphic design, product development, sourcing, preproduction, production, assembly, shipping and marketing teams. Their primary responsibility is to keep projects on track, ensuring they remain on their critical path. The Sr. Project Manager will collaborate with various in-house and partner teams to clarify product questions, secure necessary approvals, and drive the development and production progress for each project.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:


·       Manage assigned product teams and collaborate with manufacturing and sourcing partners.

·       Work in partnership with external companies to set manufacturing and production strategies.

·       Act as the central liaison between account management, product design, graphic design, marketing, structural teams, product development, sourcing, preproduction, production, assembly, and shipping.

·       Maintain project timelines and ensure all projects stay on their critical path.

·       Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments and partner companies.

·       Clarify product questions and resolve issues as they arise.

·       Secure necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.

·       Track and drive the development and production status of each project.

·       Ensure timely and efficient progress throughout the development and production stages.

·       Monitor project milestones and deliverables to meet deadlines.

·       Identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines and quality.

·       Foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

·       Partner in the development of holistic project plans. Identify the deliverables, resources required (capabilities & budget), timings, dependencies and variables associated for each deliverable - including internal parties and third-party resources

·       Set project quality and performance standards. Assess and manage risk within, and across, multiple projects

·       Review project and creative briefs to ensure overall strategic direction in on-target.

·       Strengthen overall project management and workflow capacity in a manner to efficiently support multiple clients with a mixture of long term and short-term projects

·       Manage budgets & timelines and identify ways to find efficiencies through optimizing workflow

·       Identify opportunities to drive substantial value and revenue by engaging with new prospects, overseeing and participating in new business proposal development, and active involvement in new proposal pitches 

·       Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.

·       Travel to manufacturing locations as needed


Qualified candidates will have the following experience:


·       Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

·       5-7 years of Product Development/Manufacturing experience

·       Strong understanding of material properties and their impact on product design, development, and manufacturing processes

·       Experience with packaging design / engineering

·       Proficiency with Project Management Software, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software is a plus

·       Experience working in fast paced start up environments, leading and managing multiple teams (specially manufacturing, sourcing, technology, creative, media, strategy and product development)

·       Experience bringing mass produced consumer products to market

·       Experienced with multiple product lifecycles from business development to final delivery
