We are looking for a staff accountant to join our finance team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial success. Summary of the Role

The Staff Accountant will support general accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close processes, annual audits, preparing general ledger entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, key income statement accounts, and detailed accounts payable and receivables transactions. This position will be integral in accounting for the business's operations and report directly to our corporate controller.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivables transactions and ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain appropriate records and files.
  • Support our month and quarter close activities, including financial reporting, budget vs. actuals analysis, commission/bonus calculations, SaaS KPIs, board reporting, etc
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, variance analyses, and insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that financial information is communicated effectively to support informed decision-making at all levels
  • Prepare in-depth analyses of company performance, including identifying critical KPIs and SaaS metrics
  • Help develop, implement, and enforce procedures that improve and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly close process and financial reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as requested and assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 -5 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Prior experience supporting a 200-employee plus / $30 million to $100 million revenue global SAAS company
  • Proficiency with MS Office packages, including Word and Excel. Ability to download and transform data (intermediate pivot/data sort/subtotal skills) required.
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and processes (A/P, A/R, inventory) and exposure to period close processes.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, balancing independent tasks with collaborative teamwork
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • The highest standard of professionalism, ethics, and kindness
  • Must be based in the USA and eligible to work in the United States
