Staff Accountant

Seeking a Staff Accountant to play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. You will work closely with the finance team to perform various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation expense.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and process improvements.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
