Staff Accountant

A manufacturing firm in south Seattle, WA is partnering with LHH to identify a temporary to hire Staff Accountant to assist with their day-to-day accounting work. The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree and at least three years of work experience. You will be handling journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with tax filings. Since you will be the sole contributor in the department and will be coordinating with a team that is located internationally, you need to be comfortable working independently and communicating with others. This position offers a hybrid schedule after training, and a quick interview process.

Main Duties:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing client payments
• Handling bank reconciliations
• Posting journal entries
• Filing state and federal taxes
• Additional projects as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• At least three years of accountant experience
• Knowledge of an ERP software system, such as SAP or Oracle
• High attention to detail and extreme accuracy
• Professional communication skills
• Previous successful experience in an individual contributor role is desired
  
  

Employment Details:

• Temporary to hire
• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Hybrid schedule after training
  
  

Pay Details: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour
