Responsibilities including accounting, able to work independently on assignments, yet able to work in a team environment, account reconciliation, and other accounting functions within the Accounting Department.

With a 45-acre complex in Oklahoma City, supplying over 190 locations, Locke is a premium supplier in the Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC markets.

This role will be responsible for preparing account reconciliations and helping with various other daily and monthly tasks in the accounting department.

This role is best suited for someone who is looking to grow in the accounting field and gain exposure to a wide range of functions in the accounting group.

• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail.
• Research skills.
• Written and verbal communication – Role will require both e-mail and phone calls to branches and other parties to gather information needed for daily tasks.
• Time management and multitasking – There may be multiple tasks to manage at one time so the ability to keep moving is key.
• Boldness – Don’t be afraid to ask questions or get clarification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office is a plus.
  
  

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong problem solving and research skills.
• Ability to work independently when needed, but also able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in MS Excel.
• The desire to grow in accounting knowledge and skill.
