Staff Accountant

Now hiring! We have an opening for a Staff Accountant! This is a contract to hire position with a great company in Greensboro paying $65,000/year DOE.

The Staff Accountant will be expected to:

Actively participate in the transition from Great Plains to NetSuite.

Crosstrain with other team members for coverage of duties.

Assist with process improvement and documentation of processes.

Perform timely Month-End Close duties in accordance with Close Schedule.

Prepare and post journal entries.

Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.

Have intermediate level Excel ability (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)

Code and analyze large data sets from ERP system.

Use analytical thinking and reasoning to solve problems.

Maintain financial documentation for, and to assist with, Annual Financial Audit.

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

BS/BA in Accounting is required.

Minimum Of 4 Years’ Experience Performing Month-End Close.

NetSuite experience is a plus.

Experience with balance sheet reconciliations.

Can work extended hours during close.

Must be able to work in-office full-time.
