Role Overview
In this role, you will be a key player in our back-office support team, ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our various companies. You will primarily work remotely, with occasional in-person team meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records, handle reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records for multiple entities within our portfolio.
Perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle month-end close procedures.
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filing processes.
Work with internal teams to address financial queries and resolve discrepancies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and help optimize financial operations.
Contribute to various ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or back-office setting.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and GAAP.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
