Role Overview
You will be a vital part of our back-office support team, helping to ensure the financial well-being and compliance of our portfolio of companies. This role will primarily be remote, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage financial records, perform reconciliations, and contribute to financial reporting. Occasional in-person team meetings will be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update financial records for multiple companies within our portfolio.
Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close processes.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filing processes.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve financial queries and discrepancies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing financial operations.
Support ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or back-office setting.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and GAAP.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
