Role Overview
As a Staff Accountant with us, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our companies. You'll primarily work remotely, with occasional in-person team meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and contribute to financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records for multiple companies.
Perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle month-end close procedures.
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filings.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial queries and discrepancies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to optimizing financial operations.
Support ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or back-office setting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and GAAP.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
