Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients
Providing drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients
Conducting medication therapy management and patient counseling
Overseeing the preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals
Ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
Managing pharmacy inventory and ensuring the safe storage of medications
Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy
Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
3-5 years of pharmacy experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
