Salary Range
$62,400.00 - $70,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach. What You’ll Do
30% - Strategic Planning
- Use your understanding of the media planning process to support the business solutions team and work with investment teams across a multitude of client deliverables
- Contribute to development of plan presentation materials including updating plans based on changes/revisions
- Collaborate on the development of POVs for new media opportunities, on an ongoing basis
- Responsible for utilizing consumer research and competitive intelligence tools (MRI, Cadence, AdIntel) to identify key trends and insights to shape recommendations
- Continue to strengthen understanding of media strategy and applications
- Prepare and distribute creative specs and traffic instructions, partner with Traffic team to track deadlines and deliverables, responding to any inquiries appropriately
- Oversee the billing and budget maintenance process; work closely with budget analyst, when applicable
- Organize team documents and maintain status documents and timelines to ensure all client deadlines are met
- Develop and manage media authorizations
- Establish frameworks and templates for presentations decks and team projects
- Build and foster open communication with internal teams and media partners
- Collaborate with Supervisor to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Present action items and updates on deliverables on status calls
- Engage and effectively interact with other Horizon departments, i.e. Investment, Traffic, Operations
- Communicate action items and deadlines to internal teams, answer questions and follow up on deliverables
- Apply knowledge of current/previous clients’ specific business and industry to enhance and further relationships
- A strong writer, presenter and communicator in order to share status updates, present recommendations and provide strategy and insights to client and internal teams
- An independent worker with strong time management and organization skills
- A problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
- Ability to quickly assess situations and develop effective solutions.
- A team player, willing to roll up your sleeves
- Nimble and flexible with ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment

- Eager to mentor and teach team members new skills
- An advocate for and supporter of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- 1+ years previous media planning experience, with multiple media channels preferred
- Strong understanding of media math, terminology and analytical tools (MRI, YouGov, Nielsen)
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss how those functions can or should be applied relative to the media planning process
- Experience with Monday.com
- Experience developing and presenting plan presentations
- Previous experience on entertainment account
