The Substitute Teacher/Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining our students’ academic progress by facilitating lesson plans during a teacher’s absence or assisting the remote teacher in managing the classroom. This role involves assuming the responsibilities of the classroom teacher for the school day, ensuring a consistent volume of high-quality instruction with accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications
At least two years of college coursework (60 semester credit hours)
Experience in the classroom and/or working with children in a structured environment
Strong communication and computer skills
Satisfactory background check (including references and fingerprinting clearance)
