About Our Client
This company is a Developer, Builder, and Owner and Operator of senior apartment properties. They are based out of the Northeast and have spent more than 30 years mastering this specific construction project type. To date they have built more than 55 properties that are currently under ownership and operation with multiple target markets looking to take off in the next five years. One specific market is St. Louis where they have a project kicking off in O'Fallon, MO in August 2024 with additional prospects in Wentzville (among other developments within shout of the city). They are currently looking for a construction superintendent to oversee and lead all on site operations for a $22M ground-up job -- 120 units with a project schedule of 18 months. Job Description
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our construction projects in St. Louis, MO. Your key responsibilities will include:
Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate all construction activities effectively.
Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Lead and motivate on-site teams to ensure efficient work flow and productivity.
Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or challenges promptly to maintain project progress.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving measures.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.

The Successful Applicant
10+ years of construction industry experience
Prior experience leading jobs as an onsite superintendent
Multifamily, senior living, residential construction experience -- strong familiarity with wood-framing construction Demonstrated success in overseeing complex construction projects from start to finish.
Proven ability to lead and inspire on-site teams to deliver exceptional results.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to construction sites
