About This Role: We are looking for an experienced producer to lead a small team of editors in developing video versions of our most popular podcast franchises. Our ideal candidate will have experience creating engaging social-first video formats, and demonstrate an ability to take a project from concept to delivery with a high level of creative excellence. Technical knowledge of video production (cameras, lighting, etc) and post production (media management, editing software, etc) is required. Working knowledge of motion graphics software is a plus. This opportunity is remote in the US or Canada. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with show EPs to develop compelling, visually-appealing video podcasts and related formats for distribution on social media.
  • Set and uphold a high standard of creative excellence for video podcasts
  • Advise on video technical workflows (ex: develop a high-quality video capture solution that podcast hosts can self-operate while traveling)
  • Direct and oversee the work of in-house and freelance video editors to make sure they are properly resourced, are delivering high-quality content, and are using their time efficiently
  • Help mentor and develop emerging talent
  • Oversee our media management process
  • Stay abreast of social media trends and continuously improve our approach to content


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in video production and/or video post-production
  • Expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud software
  • Outstanding editing skills
  • Deep understanding of the major social video platforms and the best practices for publishing to each of them
  • On-set experience with cameras, lighting and audio
  • High level of professionalism; driven and motivated with excellent follow-up
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • This opportunity is remote in the US or Canada.


The annual base salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits.
