We’ve got a great opportunity to hire a Supervisor of Healthcare Services, to join us at our new integrated family care clinic, Health Solutions Family Medicine at Perry Hall, located at 1591 Taos Rd. in Pueblo, CO.

As a Supervisor of Healthcare Services, you would be providing excellent oversight to staff members of the HSFM at Perry Hall Medical Center and Behavioral Health teams to ensure we are providing exceptional care to our patients. You would develop strategies, plans and goals that support the mission of the company and carry them out in an organized and productive manner.

The Supervisor of Healthcare Services works under the direction of the Director of Complex Care or designee, to

  • Provide supervision, including quarterly staff performance evaluations, of employees under the direction of this position in accordance with Center policy and procedures.
  • Assist with employee interviews, hiring and terminations of department staff, as needed.
  • Assist with staff training and development.
  • Schedule and lead meetings as assigned.
  • Assist Director with clinical data analysis to assess trends for training needs, compliance, quality monitoring and service changes.
  • Ensure that clinical program operations run efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform chart auditing to include monitoring documentation of clinical staff to assure that they are accurate, complete, and current.
  • Complete monthly supervision of medical and behavioral providers, registered nurses, medical assistants, and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with other Center departments.
  • Assist with writing and enforcing policies and procedures as needed or assigned.
  • Maintain competency and proficiency with the Electronic Health Record and providing up to date information on EHR changes to team and assigned staff.
  • Assist in managing grants which includes tracking, report writing and data management as assigned.
  • Provide administrative/supervisory coverage in the absence of the director, as assigned.
  • Maintain current knowledge of SOP’s and SOC’s regarding Primary Care and Behavioral Health Treatment.
  • Provide or troubleshoot staff coverage.
  • Assist with supply and inventory management.
  • Manage projects through to completion as assigned.
  • Provides oversight in duties performed and accreditation through Family Resource Centers.
  • Travel to satellite offices as needed.
  • Take call for after hours, holidays, and weekends as assigned.
  • Will be required to cross train in other duties as allowable by licensure.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires standing, sitting, driving, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequently exposed to stressful situations.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment to record health data.
  • Constantly communicates with clients and others.
  • Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
  • Occasionally drives between Health Solutions facilities or for other assigned duties.
  • Requires occasional driving in adverse weather conditions.

What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

  • LPC, LMFT, LCSW or closely related field
  • Licensing in good standing.
  • Experience working successfully with a multi-disciplinary team, especially in an integrated primary care setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced primary integrated healthcare practice.
  • Experience providing clinical services to patients of all ages.
  • Experience and comfort working with a wide range of behavioral health conditions and presentations to include substance use disorders.
  • Experience working with severe and persistently mentally ill adults, and experience with various behavioral health diagnoses including substance use.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to change.
  • Well-developed documentation skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license, and access to reliable transportation during work hours.
  • CPR/First Aid
