Job Title: Supplier Development Quality Engineer

Location: Pleasanton, CA - 94588

Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Description:

We're looking for a Supplier Development Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with suppliers to ensure the materials and components they provide meet our quality standards. Your main tasks will include evaluating and selecting suppliers, qualifying materials, monitoring supplier performance, and overseeing the inspection of incoming materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and select suppliers that meet our quality requirements.
• Ensure materials meet specifications before approval.
• Track and improve supplier performance over time.
• Manage the inspection process for incoming materials.
• Help develop and maintain quality systems and practices.
  
  

Requirement

• Experience in supplier quality engineering, particularly in regulated industries like medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Strong background in supplier management, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively work with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficient in quality engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
