Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for a position in Arlington, TX that plans, organizes, and reports on supplier quality related activities such as raw materials, packaging materials, as well as providing input for purchase order requirements.
Ensures control of supplier nonconforming items, conducts analyses and monitors effectiveness of corrective actions.
Collaborates with internal engineering, manufacturing functions, and external suppliers to ensure quality standards are in place.
Monitors quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities as requested and maintains feedback loops.
When called upon, performs source surveillance and validation at supplier, audits, third party manufacturers, and performs special process audits.
This position requires working on site three days per week.
The position will require working flexible hours and travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers across the United States. The THAAD program team provides a challenging environment that stresses continuous improvement and proactive mindset in driving down risk to the product and customer.
