As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Supply Chain team plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by overseeing the execution of end-to-end logistics strategies, including freight negotiations; contract across all modes, including inbound and outbound.


The Quality Manager will play a critical role in the growth of West Shore Home by developing, sustaining, and improving the supplier funnel to ensure all products meet the specified company and customer requirements. This role will work alongside the supply chain and procurement teams to maximize vendor relations and ensure all products meet the quality standards West Shore Home customers expect.


What You’ll Contribute

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Establishes Supplier Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes in alignment with sourcing strategy.
  • Collaborates with strategic sourcing to prioritize supplier development, improving quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
  • Evaluates new and existing supplier capabilities to ensure they meet product and quality requirements, as well as customer and internal WSH standards.
  • Analyzes quality metrics and drives improvements.
  • Improves supplier yield and defect rates.
  • Executes supplier quality plan and implements corrective & preventative actions when needed.
  • Validates supplier corrective actions involving design and/or process changes to ensure they are capable and robust for similar manufacturing lines and/or suppliers.
  • Mitigates warranty claims with suppliers to drive closure and resolution of issues with the cross-functional group.
  • Facilitates the introduction of new or alternative materials that will positively impact design robustness, quality, manufacturability, or cost reduction.


What It Takes To Succeed

At West Shore Home, we are Default Aggressive towards our goals and take Extreme Ownership of our results. We’ll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar role dealing with quality systems, supplier management, supplier development and audits.
  • Strong preference for someone with experience with Bathroom and Home remodeling suppliers / categories (for e.g. Acrylic, Fiber Glass, Shower Pans, Bathroom flooring, Vanities, Faucets, Hardware).
  • Good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
  • Statistical analytical skills and technical proficiency for quality processes.
  • Knowledge of production processes.
  • Strong knowledge in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
