Supply Chain & Logistics Consultant (Business Analyst/Senior Consultant)

Role Overview

As a Consultant in Supply Chain & Logistics, you will manage full-cycle transformation programs, from initial concept through to realizing value. Your responsibilities will include process and system improvements for clients ranging from small enterprises to large Fortune 100 firms. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of transformation programs, including discovery, solution development, implementation, and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Discover & Analyze: Conduct research to identify and analyze improvement areas in processes and systems using lean principles and data analysis.
  • Prioritize & Develop: Assess improvement initiatives based on client goals and develop requirements for process and system solutions.
  • Coordinate Solutions: Manage the development of solutions, collaborating with both internal and external resources.
  • Implement & Track: Design and implement KPIs to measure success and value realization post-implementation. Oversee testing, rollout, and final handoffs.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: A degree in a technical field with at least two years of professional experience, or a relevant graduate degree.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Comfort with ambiguous challenges and a proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively under pressure, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence without authority.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills

  • Domain Expertise: Experience in material management, supply chain, inventory, or logistics.
  • Process Improvement: Knowledge of tools and techniques for process improvement, including lean management or Six Sigma.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with utilities or healthcare sectors and experience with process modeling tools.
