Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in managing inventory and maintenance operations? We're seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Sellersville, PA. In this role, you'll lead our efforts in ensuring efficient inventory control, overseeing plant maintenance, and driving safety initiatives within our thriving cold storage division.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed).
What You'll Do
Inventory Control:
Ensure precise inventory levels through daily cycle counts across multiple operations.
Manage obsolete inventory and maintain exception bins.
Coordinate annual audits for fiscal year-end reporting.
Plant Maintenance Management
Oversee all plant maintenance activities, including scheduling and tracking with third-party contractors.
Utilize SAP maintenance module for streamlined operations.
Safety Leadership
Actively participate in the safety committee to promote and enforce a safe working environment.
Lead initiatives to enhance safety practices and obtain necessary certifications.
Business Development
Drive growth in our cold storage division, focusing on expanding our customer base.
Lead sales efforts by cultivating new relationships and securing commitments.
Leadership And Operations
Play a key role in the leadership and operational efficiency of our facilities.
Develop and implement streamlined business processes to optimize organizational performance.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Proven track record (10+ years) in inventory management and plant maintenance, preferably in food distribution or cold storage.
Strong understanding of safety protocols with the ability to lead initiatives.
Familiarity with SAP maintenance module preferred.
Certification in ammonia safety is a plus.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills (10+ years).
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
